How nice to see a cardinal. In Arizona we have cardinals down in Phoenix and just the other side of the Sierra Prieta range, but none up here in Prescott. Bother!
Zoom, I always think Cardinals are big because they are so bright and VERY loud but then you see one beside a robin and realize how small they are.
Granny J, I used to live in Virginia and the Cardinal is its state bird. I was pleased that they have found their way so far north. A lot of the smaller birds have extended their range lately.
